From A584 eastbound Lytham Road enter the village of Warton, pass J . Townsend & Son petrol filling station and garage on left and immediately after turn left at traffic lights onto Church Road. Continue for about half a mile and the road name changes to Bryning Lane. As the built up area ends the road winds and you see the hotel on the right side of the road in the distance. Signal now to turn right into the car park in front of the pub-hotel. The car park is huge.
From A584 westbound when you see Pickwick Tavern pub, Warton on the left side of main road prepare to turn right at the traffic lights. Turn into Church Road. From north A583 Blackpool Road enter Fox Lane Ends off A583 heading south through the village of Wrea Green, go over the mini roundabout at the village green. After 3/4 mile you see Wrea Gren Equestrian Centre on the left and 1/4 mile after is The Birley Arms pub again on left side of road. It is situated on bend in the road to the right and you are appoaching from the 'back side' of the premises so take it nice and slow.
