30.06.07 Plenty of "atmosphere" for LYG final
Teams from eleven Lancashire boroughs competed today in Stanley Park,
Blackpool, as part of the Lancashire Youth Games. Many SROC helpers
ensured a successful event. When the points were totted up Rossendale were
clear winners, with Lancaster in silver and Chorley taking home the bronze
medals. LYG coordinator Steve McLean planned individual loop courses to
reduce following, creating a new challenge for many of the participants who were
on only their second or third event! Follow this
link to full results
and team scores.
