19.11.06 Tim Watkins Blodslitet - Results
A fantastic 2nd Tim Watkins Blodslitet was held today on Bethecar Moor in the
South Lakes. Terrific weather and excellent planning made for a great
event. Results are now posted via the

The third League event Results are
up. Interesting twist to the normal scoring system saw some demanding
running.

you. It meant that there were a number of bottle-necks in our tried and

All competitors are advised to follow the travel instructions published
in the event details as the Warton to Silverdale road will be closed all day on Sunday due to repairs to the level crossing at GR 475

10.11.06 Arnside Knott - Additional Help Required
Madge Cook is looking for additional help to help prepare for this Sunday's
event. She needs help putting out a heavy stile and kites on Saturday and
putting out control boxes on early Sunday. please could you get in touch
with either Madge or Bill Cook if
you can offer some help.

Blodslitet have now been posted. On-line bookings are still available, so
get your names in before it's too late.
05.11.06 Gym Nights - Wednesday evenings
This winter's Gym Nights start on Wednesday 8th November at 7pm in Boughton
School Gym (not Sports hall). Best to approach from rear entrance.

05.11.06 Arnside Knott - Bring a friend for free
As an SROC member, do you have a friend, colleague at work or at school, or member of the family who has said that they would fancy giving Orienteering a try at some time? Or maybe
you know someone who might enjoy the sport? Then please invite them to the
Arnside event on Sunday 12th November. We will make sure they are given a warm welcome and look after them. In fact, if you bring them along to registration, we will give them a FREE entry! And you can have half price entry!

On Saturday 9th December, SROC will host a night event on a new area - Eaves
