26.04.06 New Fixtures on this Website. 
Have you noticed and used the new Fixtures list on this website?  Fixtures are listed by month now, rather than in one long list.  To move from one month to the next in the fixtures list follow the "next month" or "previous month" links at the top of the screen.  The fixture information includes a link to the event results.  This means you can simply go to the Fixtures list to see event details before the event and results after the event.  And not just of SROC events either.  Most other North West, LSOA and many national events are listed too.  This means that www.sroc.org should meet most of your orienteering information needs.   

12.04.06 Whitbarrow National Event - Rescheduling and Re-entry. 
This event has been provisionally scheduled for Sunday March 11th 2007.  Please follow the link to find out more about transferring your entry or claiming a refund. 

12.04.06 Peter Palmer Relays - September. 
This annual event for junior SROC members is an excellent opportunity to have a great weekend together and get some good orienteering in.  If you are interested in taking part on the 9-10th September at Sutton Park, please contact Sarah Watkins or Katrin Harding.

12.04.06 Club Banner Competition. 
Calling all Juniors!  Can you design the next club banner?  Could you come up with a design for a 1x 6 metre feather-shaped banner that the club would put up by the club tent at large events (similar to those at the recent Compass Sport Cup)?  If you have an idea for a design, then please draw it onto some paper and send it to a committee member before the start of the Summer Holidays. 

06.04.06 BREAKING NEWS - SROC achieves Clubmark. 
We are pleased to announce that SROC has achieved Clubmark accreditation. We are the first NW club and the ninth English club to achieve this as recognition of our high quality work, especially with juniors. We hope to be presented with the certificate at the BOF AGM during the JK. Many thanks to all club members who provided help and time whilst working for this accreditation. Read the BOF news update.
