27.09.05 Elnup and Birley Woods Results
The results team apologises for the delay in publishing results for this
event. This was caused by multiple equipment failures. For some competitors we only have start and finish times, with no intermediate split
times. These are identified by an asterisk next to their time. If anyone affected would like to declare themselves
"mispunched", for example if you
retired, please contact results@sroc.org
27.09.05 Calling all Scouts and Guides
The event at Worden Park is
going to incorporate the Lancashire Scout and Guide Orienteering
Championships. If you are interested in taking part, please get in touch
with the Organiser.

25.09.05 Worden Park - Now 16th October
The District event at Worden Park
is now on Sunday 16th October. This event incorporates an LSOA event.
Details are now available.
25.09.05 Yvette Baker Trophy - 6th November
Details of the White Coppice
District, LSOA and Yvetter Baker Regional Round event are now available.

24.09.05 Check out the Czech Republic
During the summer, the Nash family took in some orienteering in the

24.09.05 Tim Watkins Trophy - On-Line Entry
On-Line entry for the Tim Watkins Trophy 2005 (previously British
Blodslitet) is now
active.

18.09.05 Try out SROC Kit at the AGM
Samples of the Trimtex coolmax O tops, which the club are
ordering, will be available to try out at the AGM on 21st Sept. The conventional style O top remains current, but we are well in to double figures now for ordering of the new
"go-faster" style!
18.09.05 Elnup Woods - 25th September
Details for the next SROC District and LSOA event at Elnup
and Birley Woods are now available.

12.09.05 Yvette Baker Trophy - 6th Nov
This year's Yvette Baker Trophy regional round will be held at White
Coppice on 6th November. As a result there will be plenty of competitors
and therefore plenty of help is needed. If you would like to offer your
help, please get in touch with Barrie
Bertram the organiser or one of the team leaders (Peter Knott, Chris Roberts
or Bill Cook).

10.09.05 SROC Weekend Away - 29/30 Oct
Fancy a weekend combining
orienteering training, competition and fun with fellow club members? SROC
are organising a weekend away in the South Lake District. Costs will be
minimised, enjoyment and orienteering will be maximised. To secure a

01.09.05 SROC Annual General Meeting
SROC's AGM will be held as normal on Wednesday 21st September at
Furness College Senior Common Room at Lancaster University. Fun
starts at 7.30pm followed by a jacob's join (please bring some food to
contribute). If you are would like to be considered for a committee post
and want to know more about what is involved, please get in touch with Karen
Nash or any other committee member.
