British Schools’ Championships
Sunday 20th November 2005
Schools from all over the country travelled to Temple Newsam Park, Leeds, the venue for Sunday’s British Schools’ Championships. Ashton Primary, Caton St Paul’s Primary and both Lancaster Grammar Schools featured well up in the results and there were a good number of excellent individual results. Special mention for Katrin Harding for winning 2 consecutive British Schools’ titles.

1st Boys Yr 13 - Lancaster Royal Grammar School
2nd Girls Yr 8 - Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School
2nd Primary – Ashton Primary School
3rd Primary - Caton St Paul’s Primary School
3rd Girls Yr 6 – Caton St Paul’s Primary School
3rd Large Secondary - Lancaster Royal Grammar School
3rd Boys Yr 11 – Lancaster Royal Grammar School
Best individual performances:
1st Girls Yr 6 – Zoe Harding
1st Girls Yr 8 – Katrin Harding
1st Boys Yr 6 – Christopher Nash
1st Boys Yr 8 – Matthew Nash
3rd Boys Yr 13 – Tom Winsor
Isabelle Hart, Jenny Tynan, Emily Scragg, Vicky Ramsden, Liam Greenwood, John Ockenden, Sandy Hetherington, Adam Sunderland and Tom Knapper all secured top 10 places in their respective age classes.
