30.05.05 British Blodslitet - The Tim Watkins Trophy
SROC is pleased to announce that the British Blodslitet has been renamed the Tim Watkins Trophy in memory of Tim who died following a car accident in March of this year. Tim was instrumental in introducing this demanding race to the UK and had already done a lot of work in preparation for the 2005 event. The 2005 race will take place in the South Lakes on November 27th.

30.05.05 June Events in South Ribble
SROC is one busy club during June.  Just check out the dates in the fixtures list.  There's more than enough to keep you going including - Summer League; Wednesday Evening Runs; Lancaster O-Zone; as well as other weekend events.  Come on and join in the fun!

Further details the summer league now available. For those experienced orienteers participating, the league will award prizes, based on the best 3 out of the 5 events - further details to be announced shortly.

14.05.05 New O-Suit Designs
Following the long discussion on the Message Board about new SROC O-Suits, the Club Captain, Sarah Watkins has sourced some possible designs from Trimtex (close fitting O-tops and Tracksuits).  Why not have a look at them and then add your comments to the message board?

07.05.05 SROC Summer League
In June, SROC are running a Summer League of events on both Sunday and Wednesdays.  The events are designed for all-comers, so feel free to turn up as you are and ask for advice from the organisers.  They will be more than willing to help you out.  More information on dates and locations are available.
