30.06.05 Webmaster Email
I am getting emails through to me. Some people are receiving
"mail box full" return emails. As far as I can tell, I have
received all those that people have queried. I haven't quite got to the
bottom of the reason, but in the mean time if people could continue to email me
(webmaster) I will attempt to reply to
all to provide confirmation.
30.06.05 Summer League
Here are the results tables prior to the final event.

22.06.05 Summer League - Results so far
As we progress through the events, so the scores start to mount up,
expectations mount and pressure begins to rise. Who are the contenders?
Who are the challengers? Check
out the results!
22.06.05 Congratulations Sue
Sue Harding and Sue Brown were the first ladies team to complete the D
Class of this weekend's Lowe Alpine Mountain Marathon event on the Isle of
Mull. Well done too all the SROC members who helped organise the event and
make it such a great success.

There will be an extra evening run on Wednesday 22nd June. This

12.06.05 Summer League kicks off!
The Summer League kicked off with a bang last week with over 100
competitors at the Lancaster University event last Sunday. Results
have now been published.
12.06.05 Well done Harvester Team!
Well done to Jon Carberry, John Ashton, Sarah Watkins, Sarah Fulwood and David
Roome, who as a team came 8th (out of approx. 30 teams) in the Harvester last weekend - a
very good result. The Club Captain will be looking for lots more volunteers next
year. Everyone really enjoyed it and it would be great to take a few teams in all the
various handicap classes.

01.06.05 Battle Axe Winner!
SROCs top M21, David Roome, won the prestigious Battle Axe Mens Open Trophy last
Wednesday at Bishops Wood, Nr Hawkshead. This was the culmination of the midweek league put on by Warrior
OC, a series of score events in the Lake District.
David now has to decide where to store the 3 foot long wooden axe which is his trophy!
Previous winners have a strong pedigree including Mick McGill, Brendan Bolland, Stu Parker, Ed Nash and James Logue.
But this is the first time an SROC member has won it. Well done David.
01.06.05 Beacon Fell - No Strings Attached!
Contrary to what it says on the BOF website there is no string course at Beacon Fell - but neither is there a £1 parking charge!
