If you think Witherslack is a fair distance to travel for orienteering, then give some thought to the effort Frances and Tim Watkins put into their recent experience at a major international orienteering competition in Kazakhstan!  Here we have examples of the quality of their running, as well as the quality of the maps and terrain - it looks first class all round!

02.06.04 Duxbury Park event
Event 2 of the SROC Summer League is coming up on the 9th June at Duxbury Park.  The event looks set to be yet another mix of great evening orienteering and effective development. The theme is route choice and attack points!  Directions to the event are: Follow A6 south of Chorley. Turn right (if going South) just before Heath Charnock onto Wigan Lane, then first right.
