25.07.04 Belgium 2004 - World School's Orienteering Meeting
Find out how one of SROC's Junior Squad, Paul Hutton, did at the recent World School's Orienteering Meeting in Belgium.  It sounds like it was a fantastic event!   

11.07.04 SROC Annual Picnic and Sport Relief
Well done to all those who took part in the Annual picnic event yesterday.  Although the numbers were down on previous years, we managed to raise approximately £50 for Sport Relief.  Congratulations to Martyn Roome for winning the event by the narrowest of margins over Mike Ormerod.

The fourth and final Summer League event took place at Clougha Pike last Wednesday.  Check out the results and see who might have won the league!

The Club Captain (Sarah Watkins) is co-ordinating entries for this event.  She's on holiday this week, so please let her know my email and she will co-ordinate on her return.  See more information on the make-up of the teams.

05.07.04 Summer League Event 4 - Final Details
The Summer League reaches its climax this Wednesday with everything to play for.  The 4th and final event will take place at Clougha Pike on Wednesday 7th July starts being between 6.30-7.30pm at RIgg Lane Car Park GR 527604.  The coaching focus for this event will be Bearings and Pacing and will include a section specifically on this.  So ensure you bring a bevelled compass and some legs!  Routes as per normal, Easy Short, Hard Short, Long Hard.  Aprez O and prize giving will be in the Station Pub in Caton afterwards.  Check out the latest results to see whose likely to be on the podium!
