28.09.03 Beacon Fell Colour Coded and LSOA - Results
It's the first colour coded event of the autumn, and a new LSOA League.  How have you started?  Check out the results.  Also check out the comments about the results.  

25.09.03 Street League - Event dates are published
Yes, it's that time of the year again.  Street League is back!  For all the regulars, and anyone else keen to join in with this popular form of O-Sport, check out the dates and first event details.  Regular updates will be available on this website, and also via email.  Please confirm your email address with Ian Evans, the street league co-ordinator.  Also if you would like to help out with an event, Ian would be delighted to hear from you.  

25.09.03 BIG Club Training Day!  8th November, Bigland  
This BOF organised event is an excellent opportunity for SROC members to hone their individual orienteering skills on one of the best orienteering areas in the country.  Steve McLean will arrange various training exercises for members to put your orienteering skills to the test or try out some new techniques. 25.09.03 JK Helpers required - 10th April 2004
It seems miles off, but Mary Wheeler is keen to get volunteers for the Saturday of this major event, which SROC is organising at Graythwaite on the west side of Windermere.  Please contact Mary direct.

22.09.03 Wednesday evening run - 24th Sept
Meet at Denny Beck car park, 0.5 miles NE of Junct 34 of M6.  GR SD 503646.   Meet 6.20 for 6.30 prompt start. More information under Fixtures 

17.09.03 SROC AGM
Don't forget that there is a run before the AGM tonight.  Meet at 6.20pm at the Sports Pavilion (1st left as you go up the drive). 

16.09.03 SROC AGM
The SROC AGM starts at 7.30pm in the Furness Common Room of Lancaster University on Wed 17th Sept. See you there. 

12.09.03 SROC AGM -  A chance to meet everyone!
Why not come and meet your fellow SROC members at the AGM on Wednesday 17th Sept.  It's in Furness College Common Room of Lancaster University.  Please bring a contribution of food for the Jacob's Join afterwards.  Committee places are available for anyone interested.  In particular we are after a publicity officer.  If you want to talk to someone about what's involved before you commit yourself, please get in touch with a member of the existing committee who will be delighted to talk to you about it.  

09.09.03 Wednesday Runs - 10th Sept Nicky Nook!
The Wednesday runs have started up again.  For anyone who hasn't tried this out, it's a lovely run in the evening in one of the nicest parts of Lancashire.  Run lengths to suit all comers.  Meet at the "Wire Factory" GR 503469 at 6.25pm.
