Please note that the Overall Men’s Club Champion last year was: Paul RoomeAnd after a more thorough search of the various badge event results the winner of the M21 Club Championship was:David RoomeCongratulations to both of them.Additionally, I included the old method of calculating junior badge points in the last issue. The correct method is essentially the same as for seniors. Specifically, junior B-class points are calculated as for senior S-classes, based on the running speed of the winner of the A (or L) class. Thus you can still score 100 (or more) by running fast enough on a B class. CLUB LEAGUE 2003Herewith the results to date in the format : name Total. Tintwistle, JK1, JK2, BOC, (others). Where there are results in “others”, the event is designated by a letter, thus, a = Ilkley, b = BNC, c = Burnham Beeches, d = Box Hill, e = Northern Nights, f = Sherbrook, g = NATO (Feb), h = Sherwood Pines, i = BOKTrot. Best five results form the total.Please note : All badge events (except our own) qualify but for those outside the NW (apart from BOF and JK) you will have to tell me that you competed. Note that even if an event in which you competed is included below in “others”, I might not have seen your name. That is particularly likely for an event where each class set of results is on a separate web page. Also: - It is no good telling me that you ran at “Buttercup Dale”, where that is simply the name of the map. I probably won’t know which event it was, so I need the club and date unless it is completely obvious what the event was (e.g. Springtime in Shropshire).
