18.12.03 Have a Great Christmas!
No more postings on this website until the New Year.  I'm heading South for the winter!  But keep sending the results, fixtures and general information to me in the mean time, and I'll put it up as soon as I can on my return.  Happy Christmas and be careful out in the woods!

18.12.03 Bispham Street O Results
The Leagues hotting up as we take a break for Christmas.  But how did people do?  And who won the coveted "Blackpool Tower" trophy? 

16.12.03 Peter's Tri'ing pays off  
Congratulations to Peter Knott (SROC Chairman) who achieved a magnificent result in the World Triathlon Championships in Queenstown, New Zealand, last weekend.  He finished 17th in the 60-65 category.  It's not exactly orienteering, but it's a classy result don't you think? 

16.12.03 New Year will be a Cracker!
Don't forget the hangover cure of the year!  This year's New Year Cracker is being held on Dalton Crag at 12.30 on New Years Day.  Short and Long courses available, E-Punching to save your brain cells too!  So book it in those 2004 diaries that your Aunt Agatha insists on buying you each year!

Sunday 8th Feb sees the SELOC LSOA Score Orienteering Championships held at Haigh Country Park, Wigan.  Mass Starts at 10.45am.  Deadline for entries, details of prizes and much, much more. 

10.12.03 SROC Juniors Do Us Proud in Yvette Baker Trophy
Well done to all the SROC Juniors who took part in the final of The Yvette Baker Trophy Final last weekend.  They did particularly since they had to travel to Norfolk to run on Sunday morning!  Check out how they did.
