Yvette Baker Trophy Final - 2003

Norfolk
Sunday 7th December 2003

Well done to the SROC juniors who travelled to Norfolk on Sunday 7th December to compete in the national final of the Yvette Baker Trophy. The team finished a creditable 9th given that we only took a small squad (in contrast Nottingham took 32 juniors) due to the distance involved, exams and illness. The numbers were boosted by the very late addition of four boys from Ripley St. Thomas High School for whom this was their first ever orienteering event. Thanks to all the juniors who travelled – I hope you enjoyed the day. Also, many thanks to Steve McLean for all his help in organising the day and Jon Carberry for his help on the day.
